Bhikshuni Thubten Saldon - Founder, Director of Pema Chöling, Senior Resident
Bhikshuni Thubten Saldon has been a student of the dharma for many years, and ordained as a monastic since 1998. She was born in Uruguay, and spent a number of years living in Spain, India and Canada before establishing Pema Chöling Monastic Community in Crestone, Colorado under the guidance of her teacher Ven. Konchog Norbu - Treasurer
Konchog Norbu has been a Buddhist monk since 1993, taking his novice vows with HH Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok and Khenchen Namdrol that year, and his full ordination vows in 1995 with HH Penor Rinpoche. He currently serves as staff English copyeditor for 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha.
Ani Rinchung - Secretary
Ani Rinchung was ordained in July 2001. She has lived in dharma centers around the world since 1999. At the present that she resides in Crestone, CO. Her practice includes work with the local Public Health Department where she does advocacy and community organizing.
